A guide to your first Quinty Information for Artists Quinty Traditions Artists Hall of Fame Past Quinties The History of the Festival The Festival Committee Home	This Uranquinty tradition takes place on the morning of the last day of the festival.  Valliant competitors gather, vegetables in hand, to compete for the honour of being dubbed the Veggie Bowl Champion of the year, and the slightly more dubious honour of being presented with the robe of estate. The game is based loosely on boules and is played around the edge of the oval, starting and finishing at the hall. There are "rules", and woe betide anyone who should disobey them.  The whole affair is presided over by a judge and their rulings are final (but may also be somewhat random). Rule 1 You must use a vegetable.  It does not have to be a good vegetable, round, easy to throw or raw. Rule 2 The aim is to bowl your vegetable and get it closest to the ball.  The person who gets closest gets to throw the ball next to progress the bowls around the oval. Rule 3
