On this land for many thousands of years the traditional owners of Australia have celebrated and shared their culture through stories, songs, dance and music. For more than half a century the Uranquinty Folk Festival has similarly shared music and stories here on Wiradjuri country. We acknowledge the Wiradjuri and their elders, past, present and emerging who care for this country, and offer our respect and thanks to them. May music bring people of all cultures and countries together in harmony.
